There are a number of distilleries in Scotland. Some of the most famous distilleries are those that are located on the Whiskey Trail. The Whiskey Trail is a well known trail in Speyside,Scotland that as number of Scotland’s finest distilleries. One can find a number of distilleries on the trail itself, 7 to be exact, but there are a number of distilleries that are not technically on the trail but still in the area.
Scotch Whiskey is some of the finest in the world, and has been since it’s inception in 1494. The whiskey area in Scotland has a number of unique distilleries available in the area to see and taste. The Speyside area in Scotland are known for their beauty and their whiskey. Some of the various distilleries that are not on the trail that should be visited nonetheless would be the Balmenach, Knockandu and, others that make up the some of the distilleries that are in the Speyside area.
Remember that many people will go to the area and will traverse the Whiskey Trail but they are not the only distilleries in the area, and many people will enjoy Speyside for the warm people and delicious handcrafted malt beverages that abound. Remember to visit Speyside and it’s distilleries for your visit to Scotland.
